Horizon International School has announced outstanding GCSE results for its students, with targets being exceeded due to the exceptional performance of students across all GCSE subjects.
100% of students achieved a C (or grade 4) or above in English, Mathematics and Science. 69% of students achieved at least 5 A*-B grades and 38% of students achieved at least 4 A*-A grades.

For thousands of students, the long wait over the summer came to an end as the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) / International GCSE results were revealed on Thursday. Despite tougher examinations, curriculum reforms, and changes to the grading format, UAE students have performed spectacularly this academic year. School officials said despite concerns that increased difficulty in GCSE curriculum would decrease outcomes, the students have scored the 'highest marks ever'.

Horizon International School, Jumeirah announced the achievement of one of its standout students, Ahmed Tamer Salem who achieved the highest marks in the Oxford AQA Science IGCSE examinations. Salem set an unprecedented new gold standard in the Oxford international qualification by attaining an exceptional Grade 9, which is only awarded to genuinely outstanding students of the highest ability range. Ahmed’s accomplishment is the highest accolade in the history of the school.
