Book a tour
Book a tour, discover our facilities and visualise your child in our school. Meet our Leadership Team who will show you round our school and discuss the curriculum with you. Parents consistently tell us about the feeling the school gave them when they visited us, and this was what convinced them that Horizon International School was the right school for their child.
Assessment and Offer
At Horizon International School, we use age-appropriate assessments to understand your child's strengths and ensure they are well-suited to thrive in our environment. For younger children, assessments may include play-based activities to observe their interaction, communication, and developmental milestones. Older students (Year 1 and above) will complete formal assessments in key areas such as English, Mathematics, and critical thinking.
Our holistic approach considers each child’s academic abilities alongside their personal development and social skills. For families residing abroad, we are pleased to offer virtual assessments arranged through our Admissions team.
You will receive the outcome of your child’s assessment within three working days, along with guidance on the next steps to secure their place at HIS.
Secure your place
Accept the enrolment offer and submit all requested documents within the time specified. An enrollment fee must be made to secure the offer.
Admissions age ranges
We welcome children from age three, once they are toilet trained. We follow the English education system and place children into year groups based on their age as at 31 December, in line with KHDA regulations for the 2026–27 academic year.
Horizon International School follows KHDA guidance for new student admissions. Please refer to the chart to find out which year group your child will be placed in.
