Championing Spirit: The Triumphant Roar of Hatta Hornets at EVOLV3
On Friday, we witnessed the exhilaration of the annual EVOLV3 Superstars House Competition. This year, we had the privilege of hosting 60 exceptional competitors from Year 5 through Year 11, embodying the spirit of horizon and EVOLV3 through a series of challenges that tested their sporting prowess and intellect.
Embracing the core values of EVOLV3, the competition provided a stage for our students to forge unforgettable bonds and showcase their talents. The House teams brought together like-minded students from different year groups and key stages to strive for a collective victory, illustrating the power of teamwork and mutual support.
The event featured 16 diverse sporting challenges, thoughtfully designed to push the limits of both the mind and body. Our post-16 students played an instrumental role, offering invaluable support to the PE team ensuring the seamless execution of the day's events. Their engagement, professionalism and dedication enhanced the communal atmosphere of the competition.
Intensity and camaraderie marked the day, with House Teams delivering remarkable performances. The lead seesawed thrillingly, culminating in a palpable tension as the final scores were tallied. The climax of the event was the presentation ceremony, where the Hatta Hornets emerged victorious in both the girls' and boys' categories, embodying exceptional teamwork and unity. Their triumph rightfully earned them the EVOLV3 Superstars Trophy 2024.
Our heartfelt congratulations extend to all participants for making this one of the most vibrant and spirited EVOLV3 events yet. A special thanks goes to the parents, whose support fuels our community, Enrich ME for helping out on the day and the year 6 House Captains, who demonstrated excellent leadership and sportsmanship.
As we celebrate this milestone, we eagerly anticipate the upcoming Y4-13 Sports Day at Sports City on Tuesday which we know will be another incredible celebration of HIS sport.
